I'm an Applied Scientist II on the Amazon AGI team, building large-scale multimodal foundation models: systems that see, read, reason, and generate across modalities. I am a core contributor to Amazon Nova family of Foundation Models (Nova 1 Family; Nova 2 Family).

I earned my Master's in ECE from UIUC, explored multilingual speech recognition problems at IISc Bangalore, and shipped fraud detection systems at Discover Financial Services.

Beyond my work in AI, I'm also a competitive speedcuber: one of the few who can solve a 3x3 in under 10 seconds.

Over the years, I've shared this passion with many by teaching them how to solve the cube. Turns out, the cube teaches far more than just bringing six colors together. Curious what I mean? My friend and fellow speedcuber Dr. Bhargav Narasimhan captures it well in this piece.

The cube has been a constant in how I think about problem decomposition, pattern recognition, and the discipline of optimizing one algorithm at a time.

"It always seems impossible until it's done."
